At the end of a long dirt road somewhere near the Henry County – Pittsylvania County line there is a dirt road called “Nowhere Road” that led to a small house that was the home to thirteen members of one family.
The house burned down and although they escaped with their lives, they lost everything they had.
The land was their live and the aging patriarch and matriarch of the family didn’t want to leave. The weather was still warm, so the pitched a tent and decided to rough it.
